Mother charged after child brings over 200 bags of heroin to daycare

ashley-tull A Delaware mom was charged Monday after her four-year-old brought a backpack full of heroin to daycare and passed the drugs out to kids. Police were called to the daycare centre just before noon after staff noticed children holding small bags containing a white powdery substance. Police said the daycare employees took the baggies to a police station, where the contents tested positive for heroin. Investigators said the child unknowingly brought 249 bags of drugs to school in a backpack her mother gave her after the family pet destroyed the child’s school bag overnight. Several children who came in contact with the unopened bags were taken to hospital as a precaution. They were released a short time later. Ashley Tull was charged with maintaining a drug property and endangering the welfare of a child. It's going to be interesting to hear this mothers side of why her child had heroin in her book bag.
FYI:  Heroin is a highly addictive, illegal drug. It is used by millions of addicts around the world who are unable to overcome the urge to continue taking this drug every day of their lives—knowing that if they stop, they will face the horror of withdrawal.
